Tri-Valley CAREs initiated programmatic research, disseminated materials and conducted outreach to employees at Livermore Lab and other Department of Energy sites regarding the Energy Employees Compensation Program Act and related worker compensation laws. The group convened meetings of workers, and their families, who believed their illness(es) had been caused by on-the-job exposures to toxic and/or radioactive materials. Follow up assistance to workers accessing government entities and filing forms was also made available. |
