Coastal Zone Foundation

The purpose of the organization is to provide multidisciplinary conferences on comprehensive coastal and ocean management for the educational benefit of professionals, citizens, educators and decision makers. These conferences provide a forum for the exchange of information and views on matters pertaining to regional, national and international interest and scope for the purpose of defusing technical knowledge and current practice for the improvement and planning, design, development and conservation actions related to our oceans and beaches. Topics discussed normally include science and engineering; planning, conservation development and regulation, and education, among others. Proceedings from these conferences are published and distributed to the paid conference attendees and are generally sold to businesses, libraries and individuals upon request.
