Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau Incorporated

Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau Incorporated (TCVB) is a nonprofit mutual benefit corporation, organized November 23, 1983, under the laws of the State of California and under Section 501(c)(6) of the Internal Revenue Code, and operates under the name Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau. TCVB was formed by an organizing committee consisting of the Tuolumne County Lodging Association, the Tuolumne County Chamber of Commerce, the Highway 120 Association, and the Sonora Pass Vacationland Association. TCVB is the designated destination Marketing Organization for promoting Tuolumne County to visitors on a regional, statewide, national, and global level. TCVB is funded mainly through a portion of the Transient Occupancy Tax charged on overnight lodging stays in Tuolumne County. TCVB leverages marketing funds by closely partnering with larger organizations, such as Brand USA, Visit California, and San Francisco Travel.
