The mission of the Dameron Hospital Foundation is to provide the funds necessary for updating medical equipment and facilities at Dameron Hospital and to support the hospital in its endeavor to promote a healthier community.

IRS990/Desc0Young Scrubs Program: The "Young Scrubs" tour was conceived by Georgette Hunefeld to introduce children and young adults to the hospital setting from a positive perspective and to encourage them to consider a career in healthcare. The tour offers the participants an opportunity to view first-hand the hospital environment of both the patient and healthcare professional. Young Scrubs takes a host of volunteers including staff, community members and physicians to ensure the program meets Hunefeld's original vision. In February, Dameron collaborated with the San Joaquin County Healthcare career Pathways Project by hosting two tours for over seventy 8th Grade students from Marshall and Taft Schools.
