Mental Health Services: Program Expenditure: 1,611,180Each year Kidango's 13 mental health clinicians and two interns provide services for nearly 200 families in Alameda and Santa Clara Counties. Our mental health clinicians work to prevent mental health issues in children by providing screenings, teacher trainings, parent meetings, observation and participation in classroom curriculum. Our mental health clinicians provide the following services to support the children, families and teachers in our programs:o Child and family therapy o Individual play therapy o Group therapyo Case management services o Parent education and trainingo Teacher training in basic Classroom management o Teacher consultationso Classroom utilization of the Incredible Years Curriculumo Classroom consultations o Child-specific consultations with Staff for children identified as High risk o Parent consultations for children Identified as high risko Parent training meetings o Referrals to school district special education services

Head Start Services: Expenses:$ 1,171,586Kidango provides Early Head Start and Head Start services free of charge that serve 268 low-income children from birth to age 5, pregnant women, and their families.
