Each participant's plans is customized to their strengths, abilities, and goals. For the year ending June 30, 2024, PRIDE Industries and its affiliates provided employment and services to more than 4,600 individuals with diverse intellectual, developmental, physical, sensory, or mental health disabilities. Our core program focuses on employment, vocational training, individualized preparation, and placement in supported community employment. As a nonprofit social enterprise, we create jobs within our own business operations and through partnerships with other employers.Over 1,500 individuals with disabilities were employed on various commercial and federal contracts nationwide, providing a wide array of facilities services. In addition to placing more than 600 with community employers in individual or group supported employment. Through our community employment program, PRIDE partners with businesses to build a reliable workforce that adds value to the community and creates meaningful jobs for people with disabilities. PRIDE's services enable people with disabilities to overcome employment barriers and develop the skills they need to lead more independent lives. Funds donated to The Michael Ziegler PRIDE Industries Foundation provide assistive technologies, transportation, internships, training, job coaches, and other essential job accommodations. In FY 2024, PRIDE's Workforce Inclusion and Growth teams launched the inaugural I AM ABLE Disability Job Fair. The event attracted 24 employers and over 600 job seekers with disabilities. Each company conducted interviews with qualified candidates, and all employers received complimentary disability inclusion training to enhance their hiring strategies and foster more inclusive workplace. PRIDE also offered resume reviews and interview support for job seekers, ensuring equal access to employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The I AM ABLE Helpline, a free service funded by The Michael Ziegler PRIDE Industries Foundation, assist people with disabilities, military veterans, and foster youth in their employment journeys.
