Mission and Program Overview

Mission

To assist and encourage young athletes from beginners to elite in a nurturing yet disciplined environment in which athletes can acquire the technical, physical, social, and mental skills required for the execution of synchronized swimming. The club instills self-discipline, good sportsmanship, perseverance, endurance, self-confidence, and teamwork in each athlete which they can carry through to all aspects of their lives.

To assist and encourage young people in their moral, mental and physical development, to assist and encourage in swimming, particularly synchronized swimming and water ballet; to develop attitudes of sportsmanship, fair play and clean living. Aquamaids, in conjunction with international and national synchronized swimming organizations around the world, strives to provide youth development programs. Our swimmers then become some of the most elite of athletes representing the united states in collegiate, olympic and world class competitions.
