Activity 2

CityTeam operates in scores of neighborhoods through training networks of local volunteer leaders. These leaders know the needs of their communities as they serve the poorest of the poor by meeting critical needs of families, single parents and children living below the poverty line. CityTeam resources community leaders with food boxes, clothing, household items, furniture, Christmas toys and back to school supplies to help families overcome hardship and break out of the cycle of poverty. Through acts of compassion, emotional and spiritual encouragement and training, locally led communities of faith are emerging.

Activity 3

Cityteam International's calling to Love God, Love our Neighbor and Make Disciples Who Obey, does not stop at the city limits or the shores of our nation. These combined core values were recently expressed in response to Haiti's devastating earthquake and the horrendous drought/famine ravaging East Africa. Life-saving relief and life-stabilizing assistance laid the foundation for disciple making movements still flourishing. We constantly train, equip and coach local & national leaders to care for and disciple unreached people in 49 countries throughout nine regions of the world. Most people in these countries live in extreme poverty. To date, Cityteam Intl has catalyzed over 22,000 healthy, reproducing faith communities resulting in the transformation of individuals, families and communities.
