“Organizational members were sent an email copy of the Form 990 and asked if for any updates additions or questions before submission”

“Before disbursement of funds for any new project related to the mission of the foundation other than for office internet phone or essentials each board member was emailed for query as to the best use of the funds. If unanimous agreement was not in favor of the proposed use of the funds the funds were not disbursed for the new endeavor.”

“Dr. John Hughes CEO and Executive Director does not currently receive any financial compensation from the foundation and does not intend to receive any future compensation for work done for the foundation. If Dr. John Hughes dies or leaves the role of Executive Director compensation of his replacement shall be determined by unanimous decision of all current board members at that time as well as independent references to third party data for what is customary and usual for the time spent by such an individual for running nonprofit with a similar mission. Regarding key employees of the organization the Executive Director shall consult independent third party references before compensating such employees at an hourly rate suitable to comparable organization in a similar demographic.”
