Mission and Program Overview
Mission
We are people sharing kindness, compassion, love, and friendship for all of our suffering, loneliness, isolation, trauma, torture, and extreme experiences. We help ourselves and others attain agency, clarity, equity, connection, and peace. Help exists to eliminate the causes of disconnection, enmity, and invisibility; and benefit people from all conditions including extremes, horror, obscenity, war, and abuse. To eliminate obstructions to community and harmony, we wish to include and make visible people from all conditions together.
To give social and material support for people affected by torture, extreme violence, abuse, neglect, and extreme experiences by increasing people's access to peer support; mutual aid; and professional help.
