“The monitoring and enforcement of our conflict of interest policy starts with the selection and recruitment of new board members. Individuals whose intrests might conflict with those of the oreganization are carefully scrutinized to avoid conflict of intersest problems before they have the opportunity to arise. Monitoring and enforcement with respect to actual board members begins with the provision of bylaws to all new board members by the board president with further discussion of the roles and fiduciary responsibilities of a board member. Indivitual board members bear the primary responsibilty for declining to participate in any discussion or vote on any matter in which the board member, or a member of the individuals immediate family, has a potential interest that might run counter to the interest of quest center. The board chair, assisted by other board officers and members, bears the responsibilty for inquiring about potential conflicts whenever such a conflict appears to exist.”

People in our program became empowered to heal their bodies and spirits and to develop a lifelong plan for wellness. Hep offers coordinated care between conventional and complementary medicine through an individualized treatment plan designed by participants in one-on-one collaboration with a nurse care coordinator.”
