IRS990/ActivityOther/Description0MediaDaily radio broadcasts in both Spanish and English with Andrew and Luis prove to be one of the broadest-reach areas of ministry. These are heard on 3,500 outlets in 48 countries. Andrew, Kevin, and Luis were featured in several nationally recognized magazines, periodicals, and radio programs, further increasing visibility for what God is doing through the LPA. In addition, 2012 marked the release of Andrew Palau's book, The Secret Life of a Fool, which received encouraging reviews. Luis also released a powerful book titled Out of the Desert...Into the Life God Fully Intended. Specifically for the Spanish-speaking audience, Luis hosted Continente, a televised evangelistic campaign that was broadcast to millions of people in more than 40 nations. The campaign included social media, live streaming, and web components. In addition, a free online training course including 100 hours of seminars for youth leaders, evangelists, pastors and cell church coordinators is offered on luispalau.net. In 2012, more than 27,000 individuals were enrolled.
IRS990/ActivityOther/Description1Dar as Salaam, TanzaniaAugust 2012Andrew Palau, along with 700 local churches, fostered unity and humanitarian vision through Love Tanzania Festival with Andrew Palau. The festival attracted more than 125,000 people and resulted in 6,300 decisions for Christ. During the week prior to the festival, more than 17,000 people were served through eyeglass clinics, sports clinics, and school assemblies. The week also included evangelistic events, such as prison outreaches, dinners for women and business leaders, and church services across the city. Kingston, JamaicaJuly 2012As Jamaica celebrated its "Year of Jubilee" marking 50 years of national independence, the Kingdom of God also celebrated a milestone as the 10th annual Fun in the Son festival drew a record number of people to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. 80,000 people attended the festival and 3,000 recorded decisions for Christ were made. 1,164 people indicated their response via text message within 15 minutes of Andrew Palau's message on heaven and hell. Throughout the week before the festival, outreaches were held across the city including Trench Town, one of the most volatile neighborhoods in the area. Outreaches were also held in two prisons.Weymouth, EnglandAugust 2012As excitement was brewing around the 2012 Olympics in London, Andrew Palau took advantage of the high activity and collaborated with local churches in Portland and Weymouth England to host Refresh on the Beach. The event was a free evangelistic festival featuring live music and activities for children and families. The festival was a part of a larger outreach called Refresh 2012, which featured 20 events in seven days and reached men and women of all ages and backgrounds with the Good News of Jesus Christ.Tirana, AlbaniaSeptember 2012In a nation still in the shadows of decades of state-imposed atheism, Luis Palau shared a revitalizing message of hope with a crowd of 20,000 people. The country began allowing private religious practices in 1990, and the festival offered Tirana's community of believers an opportunity to spread the Gospel on a massive scale, leading 2,300 people to Christ. Luis shared that it was a dream of his to be invited to the city, and the event was an overwhelming success for the relatively small number of believers.Newcastle, AustraliaNovember 2012Two days of live music, activities for children and families, and a nightly presentation of the Gospel by Luis and Andrew Palau drew 30,000 people to Newcastle's Foreshore Park for CityFest with Luis Palau. Campaign leadership included several people who were converted to Christianity at two previous festivals in Newcastle, including the pastor of a prominent local church. The festival was the culmination of months of service projects-60 total- for hundreds of local believers. In addition, the festival was preceded by a three-day conference for evangelists in the city, in order to multiply the impact of the festival. His messages were focused on leadership and unique training for the evangelist.
IRS990/ActivityOther/Description2Alliance MinistriesOne of the key objectives of the Luis Palau Association is to equip the next generation of evangelists and encourage collaboration across ministries. The concept behind the Alliance is that one message (the Gospel) can be expressed in a number of different ways. Key Palau staff members have focused their efforts on mentoring and coordinating conferences and collaborative campaigns for partner evangelists while growing their own ministries. Since 1998, the Alliance has grown to include more than 470 independent partner evangelists and ministries. The goal for the next 5 years is to grow the Alliance to more than 900. Gospel MovementsGod has provided a unique opportunity for the Palau Association to connect with leaders from all over the country about how faith communities can best serve their cities. Kevin Palau has cast a vision for sustained Gospel movements and has worked to equip city leaders to accelerate their work with the latest city models. The result has been unprecedented unity between churches across the country. The core elements of a Gospel movement are: Gospel-centered, church-driven, disciple-led, and city-focused.

Just two years after a tragic earthquake struck the region in 2010, the atmosphere was joyful as 35,000 people heard the Good News of Jesus Christ. Through music from local and international artists, BMX and FMX athletes, and a message of hope from Andrew Palau, 1,500 people documented decisions for Christ. Throughout the week of the festival, mission teams facilitated 32 outreach projects including medical clinics, eyeglass clinics and activities for children.
