Mission

To help people prosper through a community of support, serving residents of multnomah, washington and clackamas counties in oregon, and clark county in washington, providing resources devoted to interrupting generational poverty, with an array of prevention and intervention services, focused on families with children ages 0-18, aging adults, and adults with disabilities.

To help people achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and prevent/alleviate effects of poverty.

Fin 48 (asc 740) footnote text: the organization has been recognized by the internal revenue service as exempt from income tax in accordance with section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code and is therefore generally exempt from federal and state income taxes. Accordingly, no provision for income taxes has been provided in the accompanying combined financial statements. To the extent that the organization was assessed interest or penalties associated with income tax positions, such expense would be recognized as interest expense.
