Supplier members: any business enterprise which supplies goods/services to food processing companies or the association. Affiliate processor members: any commercial enterprise engaged in processing or manufacturing food products outside of the states of idaho, oregon, or washington, upon approval of the board of directors. Associate processor members: any commercial enterprise engaged in processing or manufacturing food products in the states of idaho, oregon, or washington and with combined gross processed or manufactured food sales from facilities located in the three-state region, under a ceiling amount established by the board of directors.

The business and affairs of nwfpa are managed and controlled by a board of directors, consisting of 16 processor representatives, a chair and chair elect. Processor members, acting through a representative or representatives chosen by it and present at the meeting, are entitled to one vote.
