Mission and Program Overview
Mission
A New Direction will communicate with supporters of positive changes to government policies and actions in Oregon, describing and advocating alternative perspectives to the status quo to a growing coalition of engaged stakeholders. Communication will be through press releases, interviews, social media, digital ads and stakeholder testimony before the Oregon Legislature. In addition to overseeing stakeholder communications, contractors hired by A New Direction will develop strategic plans for the development and maintenance of a broad, engaged coalition, including execution of policy petition drives and voter registration activities, as well as conducting polling on policy issues and voter attitudes.
