The Form 990 was prepared with the assistance of an independent CPA. It is reviewed by the Executive Director and the Director of Finance and Administration prior to filing.

Conflict of interest policy compliance Part VI line 12C

Released monitors and enforces compliance with its Conflict of Interest policy through an onboarding and annual disclosure process. Each Director, Officer, and Key Employee is required to complete and submit a Conflict of Interest Statement within 30 days of joining Released and annually thereafter. These statements are reviewed by the Board of Directors, which is responsible for identifying actual or potential conflicts. Upon review, the Board determines the appropriate course of action, which may include requiring the individual to divest the conflicting interest, recuse themselves from related discussions or decisions, resign from the Board, or take other measures deemed necessary to address the conflict and ensure continued compliance with the policy.

When determining appropriate compensation, Directors review data concerning compensation for similarly qualified individuals in similar positions at comparable organizations. Each Director, Officer, and Key Employee is required to complete and submit a Conflict of Interest Statement within 30 days of joining Released and annually thereafter. These statements are reviewed by the Board of Directors, which is responsible for identifying actual or potential conflicts. Upon review, the Board determines the appropriate course of action, which may include requiring the individual to divest the conflicting interest, recuse themselves from related discussions or decisions, resign from the Board, or take other measures deemed necessary to address the conflict and ensure continued compliance with the policy.
