The management and administrative services agreement between the end drug shortages alliance (edsa) and the american society of health-system pharmacists (ashp) engages ashp to provide management, administrative, and support services to edsa. Under the agreement, ashp is contracted to provide key personnel-including an executive director and program manager-along with necessary resources, equipment, and operational support. Ashp's compensation will be based on actual costs incurred plus specified fees for services, with payments approved through edsa's budget process. This includes the salary and benefits of edsa's personnel. The agreement establishes ashp's authority to manage edsa's operations while maintaining oversight and accountability to the edsa board of directors.

IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt0THE MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATIVE SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE END DRUG SHORTAGES ALLIANCE (EDSA) AND THE AMERICAN SOCIETY OF HEALTH-SYSTEM PHARMACISTS (ASHP) ENGAGES ASHP TO PROVIDE MANAGEMENT, ADMINISTRATIVE, AND SUPPORT SERVICES TO EDSA. UNDER THE AGREEMENT, ASHP IS CONTRACTED TO PROVIDE KEY PERSONNEL-INCLUDING AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND PROGRAM MANAGER-ALONG WITH NECESSARY RESOURCES, EQUIPMENT, AND OPERATIONAL SUPPORT. ASHP'S COMPENSATION WILL BE BASED ON ACTUAL COSTS INCURRED PLUS SPECIFIED FEES FOR SERVICES, WITH PAYMENTS APPROVED THROUGH EDSA'S BUDGET PROCESS. THIS INCLUDES THE SALARY AND BENEFITS OF EDSA'S PERSONNEL. THE AGREEMENT ESTABLISHES ASHP'S AUTHORITY TO MANAGE EDSA'S OPERATIONS WHILE MAINTAINING OVERSIGHT AND ACCOUNTABILITY TO THE EDSA BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
