Our board has defined the organization's mission, developed a plan of activities designed to accomplish their charitable mission, and developed plans for fundraising. 80 percent of our time spent for deliberate will be for the collection and distribution of furniture and basic needs items and to provide relational needs and support. 10 percent of our time will be spent networking and program planning. 10 percent of our time will be focused on fundraising and donor communications. We are donation based and publicly supported. All of our donations go towards sustaining this service. We have one executive director on salary and we have operating costs to collect, store and distribute items. We have a box truck and pickup truck dedicated to this and a rented storage unit to store items until they can be distributed.”
