“In our second year of operations, workwell focused on efforts to serve new americans and those who are struggling with high interest debt. We helped migrants obtain work permits and good jobs through our workforce initiative that connected people looking for work with entry level jobs in colorado. By partnering with local non-profits and small businesses, we were successful in helping over 100 individuals obtain meaningful. Employment. One of the biggest issues facing people living below the poverty line is high interest debt. Workwell created a debt reduction benefit program in which companies offer zero percent interest loans and financial coaching to their front-line employees. 25 individuals completed this program in its first year and the results have been very encouraging on a number of levels. Finally, workwell continued to help small businesses make an impact by offering employee hardship funds and volunteer serve day opportunities to their team members.”
