Mission and Program Overview

Mission

GWBF is dedicated to improving the well-being of people displaced by war, persecution, natural disasters, and climate change, including refugees, asylum seekers, and internally displaced people (people on the move). GWBF seeks to educate the general public on the challenges facing people on the move, with attention to matters of inclusion and ensuring support for local host communities with limited resources who host people on the move, and transform the philanthropic response of tax-exempt private foundations.
