Cihdc regularly monitors and enforces compliance with the conflict of interest policy with board review and approval of contracts over a certain dollar amount.

The process for determining base salary compensation for the president/ceo is every other year through an outside vendor who compares executive total compensation for alaska and the pacific northwest. It is facilitated by the board of commissioners and the recommendation is provided to the board of directors for final approval. Performance salary adjustments are outlined in the president/ceos employment contract. The process for top management base salary is every other year through two purchased surveys whereby data is compiled and analyzed by the hr manager. The recommendation is provided to the president/ceo for approval. Performance salary adjustments are determined as a percentage increase management wide. The process for all other employees base salary is every other year through two purchased surveys whereby data is compiled and analyzed by the hr manager. The recommendation is provided to the president/ceo and chief council for approval. Performance salary adjustments are determined as a percentage increase corporate wide.
