Additional Explanations

Pt III, Line 3

Under the affordable care act the basic health plan of washington ceased and was replaced by plans offered in the state exchange that was set up. There was no provision for continuing insurance sponsorship of plans under the state exchange. Basic office was maintained in hopes of a work around becoming available. After 10 months office was shut down to minimize foundation expenses. The focus will shift to using balance of funds for nursing book scholarships for local students entering the big bend community college school of nursing.
