Children's retail bargain boutique thrift stores, using substantially all volunteer labor and donated merchandise, raise funds to support seattle children's healthcare system and its affiliates, primarily seattle children's hospital, thereby sharing in seattle children's hospital's mission to treat children regardless of their families' ability to pay.

In general, when a conflict of interest exists, the interested person must recuse themselves from participation in any board discussion or other decision making regarding the transaction and refrain from voting on or deciding any issues relating to the conflicting interest. Any covered person or other employee who engages in a violation of this policy may, at the discretion of the board in accordance with their respective authority, be removed immediately from his or her duties with children's retail and/or terminated in his or her employment.
