“The organization has dues-paying members. The benefit is that they receive our twice-yearly newsletter.”

“Members are invited to our annual meeting and can vote on incoming board nominees at that time. There is an opportunity to nominate new board members at the meeting, but no one has ever taken that opportunity.”

“The draft 990 is given to the treasurer to review, and once that review is complete (and after corrections are made if indicated) a pdf is distributed to all board members for review, prior to sending to the IRS.”

“Each year, after the annual meeting and at the time we elect officers, we review the conflict of interest document and confirm there are none.”

“Any of our governing documents, including the confilct of interest policy, are available on request electronically. Our annual report includes our year-end financial statement summary and it is handed out at our annual meeting. It is available on request.”
