Mission

To provide a successful learning environment for students with learning disabilities, attention deficits, and other learning differences. It offers a wide range of academic programs and extracurricular activities with accommodations to meet the needs of its learners. The school serves students in grades 4-12 from a geographical region ranging from Issaquah, to Everett, to Bainbridge Island, To Tacoma, and everywhere in between.

The organization recognizes all parent(s) or guardian(s) of student(s) enrolled at new horizon school as members of the organization. In addition, each household who contracts with the school to place one or more of their children in the organization's educational program for a full school year is recognized as a member of the organization.

The rights of the organization's members include: 1. Each member has the right to attend all regular open board meetings as well as the annual membership meeting and discuss their concerns for new horizon school and vote on the election of the board of directors for the coming school year. 2. Each member has the right to vote on the removal of any member of the board of directors at a special member meeting. 3. Each member has the right to vote on the removal of the entire board of directors at a special member meeting with an exception of the chief executive officer/administrator and the business director.
