The foundation was founded in 1990 as a nonprofit, charitable corporation organized to meet the needs of EvergreenHealth (King County Public Hospital District #2). The purpose of the foundation is to encourage, receive, administer, and disburse donated funds to the hospital based on donor intent. Charitable donations and bequests underwrite care for those in our community and provide equipment and services to assure quality of care.
