Mission

To share the love and knowledge of all aspects of quilting and related items and to provide education and quilting related community service. Quilters anonymous is organized exclusively for educational purposes and to encourage individuals without discrimination, to pursue knowledge and to raise and maintain standards in quilting and related items.

OUR ANNUAL QUILT SHOW DISPLAYS OVER 400 QUILTS AND RECEIVES OVER 3,000 VISITORS EACH YEAR. THE SHOW SERVES AS A FORUM TO PROVIDE EDUCATION ON THE HISTORY AND IMPORTANCE OF QUILT MAKING. THE QUILT SHOW PROVIDES A FORUM FOR QUILTERS AND THOSE INTERESTED IN QUILTING TO EXPAND THEIR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT QUILTS. THIS YEAR THE IN-PERSON QUILT SHOW WAS CANCELED, BUT WE DISPLAYED A VIRTUAL QUILT SHOW ON OUR WEBSITE.$0$31,738
MONTHLY LECTURES AND WORKSHOPS BY QUILT ARTISTS, AUTHORS AND TEACHERS INSPIRE AND HELP MEMBERS ACQUIRE NEW SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES IN QUILT MAKING$0$15,735
QUILTERS ANONYMOUS IS INVOLVED IN A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS. EACH YEAR 800 TO 1000 QUILTS ARE PROVIDED TO PREMATURE BABIES IN THE NEONATAL CARE UNITS AT SEATTLE AREA HOSPITALS. THE PROGRAM HAS PROVIDED PREMATURE BABIES AND THEIR FAMILIES WITH OVER 6,400 QUILTS SINCE 2016. HOLIDAY STOCKINGS ARE CREATED FOR COMMUNITY CENTERS THAT HELP LOW INCOME CHILDREN AND FAMILIES. HUNDREDS OF STOCKINGS ARE CREATED EACH YEAR WITH OVER 14,000 DONATED SINCE 2016. LAP ROBE SIZE QUILTS ARE MADE FOR CANCER PATIENTS RECEIVING TREATMENT. SINCE 2007 100 QUILTS HAVE BEEN CREATED FOR THIS PROJECT. QUILTERS ANONYMOUS ALSO PROVIDES QUILTS TO NURSING HOMES AND HOSPICE CARE FACILITIES$0$7,856
