If the supervisor feels there is a reasonable possibility of a conflict, the appropriate divisional manager is informed. The divisional manager will investigate and then inform those involved of the findings. Failure to follow the policy may lead to disciplinary action. When a conflict arises, the officer or board member shall refrain from discussing or voting on the issue. The person involved would give notice to the board of any conflict or potential conflict.”
