Activity 2

This campaign supported the development of the new Cymbaluk Medical Tower. The Tower is a state-of-the-art, $500 million, 12-story, 680,000-square-foot medical center featuring 240 patient beds. It is home to a new Emergency Department with 79 private treatment rooms including new trauma suites and CT and diagnostic radiology services located within the department. A new Diagnostic Imaging department features six imaging suites including CT, MRI, radiography, diagnostic ultrasound, vascular ultrasound, nuclear medicine, and non-invasive cardiology services including EKG, treadmill, and pulmonary function testing totaling more than $20 million worth of imaging equipment. There are two floors dedicated to surgical and interventional services with space for 28 operating and procedural rooms including cardiac, thoracic, orthopedic, vascular, plastic, urological, general, ENT, gynecological, cranial and neuro surgeries. There are 48 beds dedicated to intensive care including ICU and Cardiac Surgery Single Stay Unit and three floors for medical and post-surgical patients. There is a also a beautiful new Providence Ascension Chapel, outpatient retail pharmacy, Gift Shop, Cafe and dining area.
