Senior center's transportation program, valley residents can access job, medical appointments, local businesses, schools and human services and seniors do not have to suffer social isolation. Because svt is the only truly local option for transportation, svt staff members stay close to the rider's issues and act as a liaison to the larger regional transit system and the local municipalities on the subject of transit needs. The svt goal is to be a part of a long-term, stratecig plan for accessible, susatinable, affordable, saf enad convenient trnasportation in snoqualmie valley. The vision is that everyone in the valley can get to their destination using transit.

Countering the social isolation and loneliness that threats one's mental and physical health. 528 seniors ate a total of 8,538 nutritionally balanced meals served at the center. 73 individuals age 50 and older volunteered more than 9,650 hours to the center. Senior centers are community hubs offering opportunities for social interaction and friendship. Recreation programs and social activities promote close friendships and a sense of emotional security. Information and assistance, along with transportation services, help seniors maintain their dignity and independence.

BECAUSE OF MT. SI SENIOR CENTER'S TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM, VALLEY RESIDENTS CAN ACCESS JOB, MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS, LOCAL BUSINESSES, SCHOOLS AND HUMAN SERVICES AND SENIORS DO NOT HAVE TO SUFFER SOCIAL ISOLATION. SI SENIOR CENTER PROVIDED 951 INDIVIDUALS WITH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO HELP SENIORS MAINTAIN THEIR DIGNITY AND INDEPENDENCE. 87 AGING ADULTS MADE A TOTAL OF 173 VISITS FOR INFORMATION AND ASSISTANCE. 195 SENIORS PARTICIPATED IN AFFORDABLE EXERCISE AND FITNESS CLASSES 5527 TIMES, THEREBY REDUCING THE LIKELIHOOD OF INJURY AND INCREASING THEIR HEALTH AND WELLNESS. 164 SENIORS RECEIVED DISCOUNTED HEALTH CARE SERVICES INCLUDING TEETH CLEANINGS, FOOT CARE, BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENINGS, AND MAMMOGRAMS. 824 SENIORS PARTICIPATED IN SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES MORE THAN 20,000 TIMES, THUS COUNTERING THE SOCIAL ISOLATION AND LONELINESS THAT THREATS ONE'S MENTAL AND PHYSICAL HEALTH. 528 SENIORS ATE A TOTAL OF 8,538 NUTRITIONALLY BALANCED MEALS SERVED AT THE CENTER. 73 INDIVIDUALS AGE 50 AND OLDER VOLUNTEERED MORE THAN 9,650 HOURS TO THE CENTER. SENIOR CENTERS ARE COMMUNITY HUBS OFFERING OPPORTUNITIES FOR SOCIAL INTERACTION AND FRIENDSHIP. RECREATION PROGRAMS AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES PROMOTE CLOSE FRIENDSHIPS AND A SENSE OF EMOTIONAL SECURITY.
