“Membership of the association consist of:1) active members: any person engaged in the profession of teaching or in other educational work that holds or will be eligible to hold a baccalaureate or higher degree or a washington state certificate of teaching. Only active members shall have the right to vote, or to seek and hold an elective office in the association.2) agency fee membership: any qualified employee of the richland school district that does not complete and return to the association a membership application. Agency fee members are all non-active members of the bargaining unit.”

“Copy of the tax return is provided to the president and office manager to review before it is e-file with the irs. After review, the form 8879-eo is signed by the president and returned to the cpa authorizing the tax return to be e-filed with the irs. Executive board members are provided a copy of the tax return after it has been submitted to the irs.”
