“Volunteers contributed 1378 hours in 2024. They took part in office work, administrative and programming, and fundraising.”
“Connectree provided financial support for three national missionaries in mexico city and one in chiapas, mexico, enabling them to share the gospel through bi-monthly evangelistic outreaches, food distribution, medical and disaster relief (as needed), and offering support to persecuted believers. Despite the challenges of crime and persecution in the region, the missionary in chiapas has seen his ministry grow from nine villages to fourteen over the past year. Hundreds of people have been reached with the gospel and received bibles, and several underserved communities in both mexico city and chiapas have received practical aid. Additionally, we sent funds for food packages to benefit 80 mothers and children in la laguna, mexico city, for both easter and christmas outreaches, along with several other distributions throughout the year. The missionaries in mexico city faced a tragic event when two of their nieces were shot during a violent carjacking. Over the course of the year, we were able to send funds to help cover medical expenses as they took in the two girls to live with and care for them.”
“Connectree provided funds for a national missionarys ministry in moldova. He uses taekwondo instruction combined with bible study to spread the gospel to youth. Around 80 kids from several villages participate in this program. The missionary also organizes week-long summer christian camps for 40 elementary-aged students and 40 teens, with funds raised to support these camps. At the end of summer, the missionary and his team hosted a day camp in a village, where approximately 35 children attended. Throughout the week, they heard the gospel through stories and bible study, participated in english activities, and enjoyed field games. Several of the children responded to the call to repent and believe in jesus. In addition, he conducts community outreaches at easter and christmas, bringing bibles, gifts, and gospel presentations to public schools and going door-to-door in local villages. Through these outreaches, hundreds of students, teachers, social workers, and parents have had the opportunity to hear the gospel. We also raised funds to assist the missionary with some medical expenses and a new ministry vehicle. Ct hosted him while he was here on a visit to his supporting churches in california.”
“Connectree provided domestic medical benevolence for 2 missionaries with ongoing costly medical expenses. They train and coach the next generation of christian professionals working in closed countries for resilience and effectiveness in bringing the gospel to hostile contexts. Hundreds of people have received training in how to cross cultures, learn languages and be prepared for crisis/risk management so they can effectively integrate into unreached or least-reached countries and communities in order to share the gospel with unbelievers over the long-term. Additionally, ct provided a donation to help them with ministry travel expenditures for the year, which exceeded expected costs. Connectree also provided medical relief funds for 2 missionaries working in se asia (they are american) for some unexpected large medical bills. These missionaries have a business as mission with an eco-tourism and cultural exchange program, bringing teams from the states who have the opportunity to visit various villages, interact with the people, and share their faith if the opportunity arises. They work in an environment that is particularly hostile to the gospel. They hope these exchanges help them find a person of peace who they can invite to do an exploratory household bible study to disciple people toward a relationship with christ. Connectree blessed 5 missionaries with gifts to help with expenses while on home assignment and arranged get together meals with them and their local supporters.”
“Missionary advocacy and mobilization connectree comes alongside churches to consult with them to help implement best practices in their missions programs. Our goal is to help them care for and encourage their missionaries, raise local and international missions awareness, promote missions mobilization and connect them with other churches who support the same missionaries. Ct takes multi-church short term missions trips and helps train and lead short term trips for churches as well. Connectree also provides personal and missions focused counseling and encouragement to missionaries as needed. We seek to meet the needs of missionaries emotionally, mentally and spiritually as well as practically talking through opportunities for missions, outreaches, missions leadership and development and specific issues on the field. We spend time in prayer with them as well. We also meet with those who are interested in going on the mission field, giving them guidance and helping them through the process of becoming a missionary. We also train short term teams in depth before going on the field.”
