IRS990/Desc0Programming and Initiatives For 2015:During this year, the foundation worked in several key areas to inspire disease prevention in communities across the country and around the world via live events, social media and email campaigns. The targeted disease states for 2015 were HIV/AIDS, Heart Disease, Stroke, Sickle Cell, Mental Health, and others. True to its mission statement, the foundation used social influencers, innovative programs, free health screening, free health supply distribution, peer to peer messaging and other traditional and non-traditional methods to impact target audiences. The foundation reached several million people via online messaging and thousands in person through a series of events and programs that included the RFHF Health Ambassador Program, The Love Healthy Lounge and Wellness Pavilion, The Certified Fit Campaigns (Certified Fit to Party and Certified Fit For Praise) as well as workshops and seminars. Beyond foundation fundraising efforts, these vital programs were provided free of charge to the target audiences. In addition, the foundation launched its One in a Million Campaign in an effort to reach more people by recruiting one million friends to advocate to health together. Health Ambassador Program:The Reed For Hope Foundation's Awareness Ambassadors Program is a vital part of the charitable mission of the foundation. Ambassadors are carefully selected yearly based on a series of factors, namely, their desire to serve and their influence on their peers and their fans as evidenced by their social media presence and other measurements of their ability to reach the target audience. A vote of confidence by the foundation board during annual meetings establishes the criteria and choices yearly. We strongly believe that God has a purpose for each individual and the board is committed to making non-traditional choices for Ambassadors.Ambassadors must commit to a series of affirmations in their personal live's regarding health and wellness to first set the example. They then must commit to a certain number of public events per year to spread messages of good health based on RFHF initiatives. RFHF raises funds yearly to cover travel and honorariums for these very special individuals committed to changing lives. Our ambassadorswork on either one specific initiative or on a few of the initiatives and projects of the foundation during their respective calendar year or during their renewal years. 2015 Examples of our Ambassadors in Action:Heres a sample of our Love Healthy Lounge with Ambassadors at the BET Experience 2015 (100, 000 plus attendees) - THE BET EXPERIENCE EMPOWERS LOVEHEALTHY.ORG WITH AN OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE MILLIONS OF LIVES USING HOLLYWOODS BIGGEST STARS TO FIGHT FOR GLOBAL HEALTH AND WELLNESSFitness and Fashion Expert, Angela Simmons, Top Model, Eva Marcille, NBA Champion, John Salley, Power Star, Naturi Naughton, The Games Hosea Chanchez, and others join Reed For Hope Foundation to build healthy communities LOS ANGELES, CA (June 24, 2015) The Reed For Hope Foundation, founded by Emmy Award-winning casting director Robi Reed, joins forces with AIDS Healthcare Foundation and BETs Rap-It-Up, to present The Love Healthy Wellness Pavilion with a full line up of high energy, interactive wellness sessions and the worlds largest virtual workout/fitness flash mob at the 2015 BET Experience at LA Live. This two-day event will be held at the Staples Center, 1111 S. Figueroa, Los Angeles, CA 90015, from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 27, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 28.
