IRS990/Desc0The Association's Purpose is the provision of forms for use by apartment communities to assist them with lease agreements.The purpose of the Association shall be to provide a statewide organization to promote the interests of persons, firms, partnerships, associations and corporations who develop, own, maintain or manage multifamily residential housing; to inform members about current issues and interests, including legislative activities; to promote and support the education and professional development of the multifamily residential professional and to conduct such activities as are necessary to carry out the goals of the Association.Major concerns & goals of the organization include serving as the legislative arm for the five local apartment associations of SC that are members of the GCAA, understanding rules or regulations regarding multy-family housing, and getting Expedited Eviction legislation, Submetering legislation, & property-tax coalition reform passed.
