“The breman development foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the economic development of the breman traditional area in the central region of the republic of ghana. “The foundations primary focus is to hold fundraising activities and events in the united states of america for the purpose of securing resources to support the initiatives described above. It will set up fundraising activities online as well as at physical events. It will solicit grants from other foundations to support its mission. Proceeds from all fund- raising activities shall be used to support activities identified and supported by our sister non-governmental organization (ngo) breman development foundation (bdf) in ghana. In addition to the construction of a community public library, other anticipated projects are the construction of a community center, a durbar ground, conference center, expanding elementary, middle and secondary school infrastructure, ending teen pregnancy, improving the breman asikuma hospital and providing equipment and supplies for the health centers in the district including jamra, kuntunanse and benin. Some furniture and books were shipped to the library that we built last year.”
