“1. Odf arranged cooperations with 5 hospitals in ukraine, take care of the legal stuff and all necessary formalities, logistics and, last but not least, in cooperation with ukrainian organisations such as unbroken ukraine and superhumans center, reach out to those in need: veterans and civilian casualties alike. At least 10 veterans and civilian got bionic hand prosthesis, letting them finally return to normal life, and training in the use of prostheses and monitor the process on a regular basis. 2. Odf did monitoring and research, public awareness campaign on the situation with human rights, transnational repression, especially financial transnational repression by kazakhstan on the u.s. Territory, identified and carried public support for 48 political prisoners and two freedom of peaceful assemblies in kazakhstan during 2024. 3. Odf arranged education mission with over 30 policymakers and the u.s. State institutions like fatf, dos, media awareness campaign on the abuse of aml/cft laws by the authoritarian states like kazakhstan, kyrgyzstan to undermine u.s. National security and financial integrity and evasion sanctions imposed on russia, as well as the role of use of crypto-assets for human rights and humanitarian aid 4. Odf in 2024 monitored and documented testimonies from dozens of victims who were targeted through the misuse of anti-money laundering and counter- terrorism financing (aml/cft) regulations in poland and beyond. This weaponization of financial oversight laws was used by the law and justice party government coalition to financially exclude and isolate polish civil society representatives, judges, prosecutors, and business people between 2015 and 2023. Our documentation reveals a systematic pattern of using financial regulations as tools of political repression against democratic voices.”
