“The raffaella foundation aims to foster diversity in urban societies and agricultural ecosystems. To do so, we will support and conduct research and operate platforms that disseminate in multiple languages on information on combatting local and global inequities. The foundation will identify ways to educate and support rural and urban societies to embrace the use of diverse ideas and practices, diverse production systems, diverse languages, cultures and ethnic groups, diverse gender identities, and diverse behaviors and norms, to enhance equity, solidarity, and well-being. To achieve this goal, the foundation will identify and facilitate relevant new and innovative partnerships among platforms, networks and organizations that strengthen societies capacity to embrace social and environmental diversity and to address some of the major local and global challenges of urban and rural societies.”

“The corporation will apply the following principles in each of the program areas described below: 1) share educational materials in multiple languages to increase the knowledge and understanding of how diversity is an essential resource for sustainable development and wellbeing. 2) involve local communities, respect and strengthen the communities customary knowledge and language systems, and generate tools and findings on diversity that can be used by communities globally, in order to increase the community benefits from embracing social and environmental diversity. 3) integrate local, regional, and global issues to emphasize the common and shared responsibility to maintain and support diversity in both developing and developed countries. 4) present global and international trends, challenges, and opportunities for embracing the use of diverse ideas and practices, diverse production systems, diverse cultures, diverse gender identities, behaviors, and norms, including but not limited to supporting foreign organizations whose missions align with the corporations charitable, educational, and scientific purposes.”
