“In 2025, we made significant progress on Project SWIFT (Sustainable Water Initiative for Future Transformation), a scale up initiative for our WASH solution. SWIFT is dedicated to addressing the pressing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) challenges in two underserved communities (Isiwu and Eginrin Ekun) in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria by deploying climate resilient WASH infrastructure to increase access to clean water in these underserved communities. The project has successfully drilled two industrial boreholes with a combined capacity of 30,000 liters per day, serving over 9000 direct beneficiaries in Isiwu and Eginrin Ekun communities. Water treatment facilities were installed in both sites to purify the borehole water, and portable water standard has been achieved for distribution to three distinct fetching point within each community. The facilities are powered by a 12kW solar system comprising PV panels, lithium-ion batteries and an inverter in both communities. Beyond infrastructure delivery, the project integrates governance strengthening and structured capacity building to ensure long-term sustainability and community ownership. In 2025, Project SWIFT trained a total of 106 community members in governance, asset maintenance and financial management. The intervention directly contributes to the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), while embedding environmental sustainability through solar-powered systems and community-led management models. Project SWIFT builds on the success of our Agala WEDA pilot project by focusing on community capacity building in addition to infrastructure development and refining community led WASH delivery models to ensure long term sustainability as we continue to scale the WASH program.”

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 0 | In 2025, we made significant progress on Project SWIFT (Sustainable Water Initiative for Future Transformation), a scale up initiative for our WASH solution. SWIFT is dedicated to addressing the pressing Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) challenges in two underserved communities (Isiwu and Eginrin Ekun) in Ikorodu, Lagos State, Nigeria by deploying climate resilient WASH infrastructure to increase access to clean water in these underserved communities. The project has successfully drilled two industrial boreholes with a combined capacity of 30,000 liters per day, serving over 9000 direct beneficiaries in Isiwu and Eginrin Ekun communities. Water treatment facilities were installed in both sites to purify the borehole water, and portable water standard has been achieved for distribution to three distinct fetching point within each community. The facilities are powered by a 12kW solar system comprising PV panels, lithium-ion batteries and an inverter in both communities. Beyond infrastructure delivery, the project integrates governance strengthening and structured capacity building to ensure long-term sustainability and community ownership. In 2025, Project SWIFT trained a total of 106 community members in governance, asset maintenance and financial management. The intervention directly contributes to the objectives of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation), while embedding environmental sustainability through solar-powered systems and community-led management models. Project SWIFT builds on the success of our Agala WEDA pilot project by focusing on community capacity building in addition to infrastructure development and refining community led WASH delivery models to ensure long term sustainability as we continue to scale the WASH program. |
