“Hyp+access facilitates multidisciplinary care access and disability justice for all people, with a particular focus on supporting people with connective tissue variance related conditions and disabilities. Populations served are primarily lgbtqia+, women, disabled, low-income, and/or people of color. Programs are free or sliding scale and include socio-medical research, public education & free resources, hypermobile accessible proprioceptive therapy (hapt), practitioner education & training, disability-related consulting and advocacy, and new models of clinical and alternative healtcare for a future where all people with connective tissue variance and related disabilities have equitable access to safe and dignified care options.”
