Hyp Plus Access Inc.

Hyp+access is a patient-led nonprofit by and for people with connective tissue disorders and overlapping conditions including hypermobility spectrum disorders, dysautonomia, mast cell disorders, long covid, fibromyalgia, myalgic encephalomyelitis, and more. Our mission is care access and justice for all "hyps," a shorthand term we use to describe people with these co-occurring complex, chronic conditions & disabilities. We build and launch groundbreaking models of care to make current systems more liveable and accountable, all while building a community movement, changing narratives, and saving lives. Hyp+access seeks to transform the us health care system by serving one of the largest & most overlooked clinical populations in modern times, offering holistic solutions to complex problems.

Hyp-ACCESS develops multi-field care access for common & neglected Hypermobile conditions & disabilities from a foundation of Peoples Science & Disability Justice. Our Hyp+ community work traverses research, care access coordination and advocacy, risk-minimizing movement support techniques, and accessible movement programming. We center disabled community members and families, and work with practitioners, clinicians, and institutions in service of care justice.
