Bc-ptc requires the board of directors to fill out a conflict of interest questionnaire annually as well as when we onboard a new member. For key staff, we have a conflict of interest policy included in our financial policies and procedures which are reviewed and signed annually. When making large purchases, we are required by our hhsc contract to acquire 3 bids in order to make sure we are choosing the best option not only in regards to price but quality as well. The director of the program that is being effected by the purchase reviews the bids first and then they are reviewed and agreed upon by the ceo and cfo so not one person is the sole approver of a new contract/substantial agreement.
