Mission

The larks community fund will develop programs to make a positive difference in bismarck, nd and the surrounding community. We believe in using fun to make a difference and strive to make an impact in our community through sports, specifically baseball and softball. We believe that sports have the ability to change lives for the better by teaching players teamwork, perseverance, failure and most importantly, how to have fun. Having fun is critical to the preservation of physical, mental and emotional stability of our youth. Using baseball and softball as our platform, we will channel community resources for the healthy development of future generations. We are dedicated to promoting health and athletic initiatives while focusing on experiential opportunities, developing community programs and improving facilities. We strive to use fun to make a difference.

LARKS CARE: THE LARKS COMMUNITY FUND AIMS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE BY PROVIDING EXPERIENTIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR LOCAL YOUTH. THE FUND WILL CREATE EXPERIENCES FOR THE UNDERPRIVILEGED, BY OFFERING TICKETS, ACTIVITIES AND EQUIPMENT FREE OF CHARGE TO THOSE WHO NEED IT MOST. PROGRAMMING INCLUDES THE TICKET PROGRAM, THE READING PROGRAM, AND THE EQUIPMENT KIT PROGRAM. 1. THE TICKETS FOR KIDS PROGRAM EXISTS TO BRING UNDERSERVED YOUTH AND NON- PROFITS TO BISMARCK LARKS BASEBALL GAMES. 2. THE READING PROGRAM - LARKS COMMUNITY FUND IS PROVIDING A READING PROGRAM TO ALL SCHOOLS ACROSS THE REGION THE OPPORTUNITY TO WIN PRIZES BY SIMPLY READING BOOKS DURING THE MONTH OF MARCH. 3. Larks care: the larks community fund aims to make a difference by providing experiential opportunities for local youth. The fund will create experiences for the underprivileged, by offering tickets, activities and equipment free of charge to those who need it most. Programming includes the ticket program, the reading program, and the equipment kit program. 1. The tickets for kids program exists to bring underserved youth and non- profits to bismarck larks baseball games. 2. The reading program - larks community fund is providing a reading program to all schools across the region the opportunity to win prizes by simply reading books during the month of march. 3. The equipment kit program provides equipment kits to youth baseball and softball organizations throughout the state of north dakota.

Scholarships - the larks community fund will support youth within the local community in their pursuit of post-secondary education. 2. Community volunteer program - the community volunteer program will look to offer local non-profits and youth teams the opportunity to raise money by volunteering at larks community fund events. The fund handles the staffing and fundraising through the 50/50 raffle, the miracle minute and the kids "funzone" during bismarck larks baseball games. 3. Food donation program - the larks community fund is establishing this program to take the unused food from the bismarck larks ballpark and donate it to people in need through the cooperative effort of local charities.

Fields for kids grant - the larks community fund will provide matching grants up to 10,000 for the renovation or construction of a sport or entertainment facility that will be primarily used for youth sport or entertainment needs. 2. Municipal park upgrades grant - the larks community fund will provide a grant for the bismarck parks and rec council (brc), a 501(c)3 that aims at improving public facilities for youth and families alike.

COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER PROGRAM - THE COMMUNITY VOLUNTEER PROGRAM WILL LOOK TO OFFER LOCAL NON-PROFITS AND YOUTH TEAMS THE OPPORTUNITY TO RAISE MONEY BY VOLUNTEERING AT LARKS COMMUNITY FUND EVENTS.
