“Primary Exempt Purpose:Working to change the systems that perpetuate social, economic and racial injustice through developing and advocation for policies that improve our communities.Program Accomplishments:We organized community convenings to hear what our community members cared most about. We formed an Unarmed Crisis Response Working Group. We launched our Housing Justice Action Team.We launched a Progressive Campaign Leadership Academy, which is recruiting and training a diverse cohort of LA County residents to be candidates and campaign staffers in future election cycles.We created a Judicial Leadership Academy to equip a cohort of progressive attorneys and community members with the skills they need to run for seats as LA County Superior Court judges in the future.”
