“The exodus ensemble's program services accomplishment - 2024 overview: the exodus ensemble is a daring, immersive theatre company based in santa fe, new mexico. Now in its fourth year, exodus continues to redefine the cultural landscape of the american southwest by creating boundary-pushing performances grounded in classical texts and radically contemporary storytelling. In 2024, exodus produced 102 performances, including the world premiere of its original hamlet, as well as returning works bathsheba, ivanov, jayson, and zero. The year also marked the company's first regional tour, expanding its reach into albuquerque and drawing entirely new audiences to its donation-based model. Unmatched accessibility: exodus ensemble's donation-only model ensures that no one is turned away due to cost. This approach-born from creative necessity and shaped by the generosity of our community-remains a cornerstone of our mission. In 2024, our model reached an even broader demographic, particularly in albuquerque, where average audiences skewed under age 40. The continued impact of this approach is evident in the diversity of our attendees: exodus audiences are high school students, retirees, first-time theatre-goers, and industry professionals alike. Many report that exodus was their first theatrical experience. In a city like santa fe, where the population trends older, exodus is uniquely capable of drawing young audiences into sustained engagement with the arts. Innovative programming and creative growth: this year, exodus premiered a bold reimagining of hamlet, which continues to play to sold-out audiences. We deepened our commitment to education and community engagement by working with students at united world college, leading workshops that culminated in a public performance at chatter for an audience of 150. Our immersive productions continued to inhabit unconventional spaces-from gallery hallways to moving train cars-and exodus collaborated with over a dozen institutions including united world college, modern elder academy, sky railway, pro musica, chatter, violet crown, and local shelters through unhoused art. Recognition and expansion: in 2024, exodus was awarded the new mexico entertainment award for top performing arts group and the mayor's award for excellence in the arts, while also receiving national recognition as the cover feature of american theatre magazine. The company also received grant funding from the city of santa fe marketing grant (15,000) and the witter bynner foundation (10,000) for the development of hamlet. These milestones affirm the strength of our artistic vision and the growing impact of our work on both regional and national levels. Sustained artist support and organizational model: exodus invests directly in its people: 80% of our annual budget goes to supporting 13 full-time artists, who also serve as the organization's core administrative team. This people-first model empowers the ensemble to generate original work, engage in outreach, and present performances at a professional level-without relying on outdated production models or permission-gated structures. By placing artists at the center of operations, exodus has cultivated a creative engine that is nimble, ambitious, and deeply rooted in community. Conclusion: exodus ensemble is pioneering a new way forward for american theatre-one that invites risk, embraces radical accessibility, and forges human connection. In a moment when traditional institutions are faltering, exodus is growing, innovating, and inspiring a new generation of audience members. From our santa fe home to our albuquerque tour and national recognition, 2024 was a year of expansion, transformation, and deepened commitment to our mission. We remain steadfast in our goal to revitalize this art form and bring transformative, immersive theatre to communities across the country and the world.”

| IRS990/Desc | 0 | THE EXODUS ENSEMBLE'S PROGRAM SERVICES ACCOMPLISHMENT - 2024 OVERVIEW: THE EXODUS ENSEMBLE IS A DARING, IMMERSIVE THEATRE COMPANY BASED IN SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO. WE REMAIN STEADFAST IN OUR GOAL TO REVITALIZE THIS ART FORM AND BRING TRANSFORMATIVE, IMMERSIVE THEATRE TO COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD. |

| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 0 | THE OBJECTIVES OF THE EXODUS ENSEMBLE ARE TO DEVELOP, PRODUCE, AND PERFORM DARING IMMERSIVE THEATRICAL EVENTS; TO PROVIDE SANTA FE AND THE WORLD WITH WORLD CLASS EXPERIENTIAL THEATRE; TO DEVELOP, PROVIDE, AND PERFORM THEATRE WORKS AND ENGAGE THE COMMUNITY IN THEATRICAL PERFORMANCE, EXPERIENCES, AND EDUCATION. |
| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 1 | BOARD SERVICE AND VARIOUS ADMINISTRATIVE/PRODUCTION/PERFORMANCE SUPPORT SERVICES. |
| IRS990ScheduleO/SupplementalInformationDetail/ExplanationTxt | 2 | THE EXODUS ENSEMBLE'S PROGRAM SERVICES ACCOMPLISHMENT - 2024 OVERVIEW: THE EXODUS ENSEMBLE IS A DARING, IMMERSIVE THEATRE COMPANY BASED IN SANTA FE, NEW MEXICO. WE REMAIN STEADFAST IN OUR GOAL TO REVITALIZE THIS ART FORM AND BRING TRANSFORMATIVE, IMMERSIVE THEATRE TO COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD. |
