Mission and Program Overview
Mission
The Childrens Action Coalition is creating the infrastructure to support child welfare everywhere. We have launched a website, the Coalition Platform, to serve as a hub that facilitates increased connections between people serving vulnerable children and families across organizations and subject areasi.e, lawyers can find medical referrals; social workers can ask questions of researchers. As we grow, we plan to offer an internship program to connect volunteers to our member organizations, as well as strengthen relationships between our nonprofit and academic members to increase both the accessibility and relevance of research. The Coalition provides a one-stop shop for lawyers, doctors, program managers, educators, researchers, mental health providers, social workers, and others to find the information they need and share what they know to better serve the youth in their communities, together.
