Mission
The purpose of LONGLEAF PRESS, INC. is as follows: LONGLEAF PRESS, INC., publishes poetry and prose of exceptional literary merit by both established and emerging authors. We are interested in language that is not merely reflective but transformative. The press holds an annual contest and publishes at least one book a year. LONGLEAF PRESS, INC. is organized exclusively for charitable and educational purposes under section 501c3 of the Internal Revenue Code, or corresponding section of any future federal tax code.

Thanks to grants from the Arts Council of Fayetteville and Cumberland County and the North Carolina Arts Council, all students receiving free or reduced lunch will receive free, priority enrollment for the writing mentorship program in 2023, as will anyone requesting a fee waiver due to financial hardship. | - | $5,239 |
