The corporation is governed by a seven-member board of directors consisting of the city manager and the director of planning and community development of the city of dayton (the city institutional directors), two directors appointed on behalf of miami valley hospital (mvh) by the chief executive officer of premier health (the mvh institutional directors), the parent entity to mvh. Three additional directors are appointed by the insitutional directors.
