| The 21 Collectives Hmong American Health Equity Campaign convened a series of Health Equity Summits bringing together 40 Hmong American community leaders health professionals and public policy experts to discuss the data gathered from the Covid data collection project and the accompanying Change Framework white paper. The objectives of the Health Equity Summits were to review and reflect on the data and the Change Framework; to discuss the need and or readiness of the Hmong American community to engage in life-saving behavioral changes relating to chronic health concerns such as gout kidney stones high blood pressure and other lifestyle-related health threats and to determine whether the moment is conducive to the establishment of a health equity strategy that could be deployed to bring clarity and alignment around the health equity needs of Hmong Americans and the potential role of Hmong American health professionals in its formation and implementation.
