“For 6 years, jolkona was able to impact thousands of lives in over 40 countries around the world through our donation platform. Through engaging our donor community and connecting with the strong social impact network in seattle, jolkona learned that taking on a new focused holistic approach was necessary for the organization's sustainability and to truly uplift communities. Jolkona's mission to impact emerging and developing countries by helping them address social issues and poverty remains core to our mission. In 2015, jolkona fully transitioned from running a transparent fundraising vehicle for a diverse set of projects to running education programs for young entrepreneurs whose mission is to address social issues and reduce poverty in innovative ways at scale. Through this program, jolkona will amplify the impact that young social entrepreneurs are making in their countries.”

JOLKONA'S MISSION TO IMPACT EMERGING AND DEVELOPING COUNTRIES BY HELPING THEM ADDRESS SOCIAL ISSUES AND POVERTY REMAINS CORE TO OUR MISSION. IN 2015, JOLKONA FULLY TRANSITIONED FROM RUNNING A TRANSPARENT FUNDRAISING VEHICLE FOR A DIVERSE SET OF PROJECTS TO RUNNING EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS WHOSE MISSION IS TO ADDRESS SOCIAL ISSUES AND REDUCE POVERTY IN INNOVATIVE WAYS AT SCALE.
