“The primary purpose of the goabroad foundation is connecting individuals with good intentions to sustainable development initiatives around the world and to help facilitate the flow of donations to such projects. The goabroad foundation aims to provide support to local communities and grassroots organizations to aid developments in education, child welfare, public health, and the environment.”

“The organization provided support and relief in philippine communities, tacloban city and cangumbang, by assisting with the reconstruction of schools, promoting, and establishing teaching opportunities, promoting nutrition and medical health programs for the public and providing personal care for individuals and families. In 2014, the goabroad foundation dedicated a great portion of time and fundraising efforts to rebuild communities affected by typhoon haiyan in the philippines. Over 150,000 usd was raised in total for these efforts, and were distributed to families to rebuild their homes, utilized by its local ngo partner to reconstruct one of their community centers, provide numerous feedings to children at risk of malnutrition, and supply relief distributions to families and communities in immediate need. The foundation also provided funds to its local ngo partner to reconstruct a classroom as well as a day care center demolished by the typhoon, and build multiple homes for local families. Near the end of 2014, the philippines was once again hit by a typhoon and tropical storm which caused landslides, flooding, and destruction across many islands. In the aftermath, the goabroad foundation helped support its local ngo partner in providing relief distributions and assessing local communities needs. The local ngo partner also continued its regular sponsorship program, through funding provided by the goabroad foundation, which provides over 150 children with access to education, monthly grocery subsidies, and daily feedings, as well as annual medical checkups and various other special activities. Funding from the goabroad foundation also supported ongoing community programs in the philippines, as implemented by our local ngo partner, such as school supply and water filtration system distributions. Additionally, the goabroad foundation formed a new partnership with a local ngo in uganda, and completed fundraising efforts to provide a water pump for a local school which will not only supply water to the community but also generate an income for the school to provide better educational resources to its students.”
